Following a successful series of Big Picture workshops covering the vision, ambition, and outcomes for a new flooding strategy for Scotland, Sniffer, ClimateXChange, and the Scottish Flood Forum are holding a second stage of workshops where practitioners and community representatives can come together to think 20 years ahead. 

This workshop will be held in Inverness this Wedneday, October 4th from 14:00 - 16:30 at An Lochran (UHI Inverness Campus)

Communities, and those representing communities, as well as practitioners involved in a wide range of disciplines including flood resilience, place-making, climate, planning, and infrastructure are encouraged to register interest in the event using this link.

 

We are part of the rapidly expanding worldwide Transition Towns movement. The Black Isle is a peninsula of about 100 sq miles ENE of Inverness in Scotland, UK.
